Terms of service
These terms cover your use of WAPlatform during its closed beta. By taking part in the beta you agree to them.
Beta status
WAPlatform is not generally available. Access is by invitation, granted at our discretion, and the product is under active development. Features described on this site may change, be delayed, or be removed before launch. Nothing on this website is a commitment to deliver a specific feature on a specific date.
What the beta involves
Participants connect a real WhatsApp Business number and use the product for real conversations. In exchange we ask for candid feedback about what breaks and what is missing. There is no charge for the product during the beta. You remain responsible for the conversation fees Meta bills you directly.
No availability guarantee
There is no service level agreement during the beta. The service may be interrupted, reset or taken down for maintenance with little notice. Do not rely on WAPlatform as the only route to a customer conversation you cannot afford to lose, and keep your own record of anything commercially important.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what the people you invite do in your workspace. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use WAPlatform to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or message people who have not opted in
- break WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy or Meta’s commerce policies
- send unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing content
- impersonate another person or business
- probe, overload or reverse engineer the service, or circumvent its limits
- resell or white-label access without a written agreement with us
We may suspend an account that breaches these rules, and we will tell you why when we do.
Your content
You keep all rights to your data and your conversations. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you: to store, transmit, display and process that content so the product works. We do not use your conversation content to train our own models.
Pricing
The prices shown on this site are planned, not final, and may change before launch. Beta participants will be told what their rate will be, and given the choice to accept it or stop using the service, before any charge is made. Meta’s WhatsApp conversation fees are separate and are billed to you by Meta.
Ending the beta
You may stop at any time and ask us to delete your workspace. We may end your participation at any time, and will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before we remove it, except where a serious breach of the acceptable use rules makes that inappropriate.
Liability
The beta is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent the law allows. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data arising from your use of the beta. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Who you are contracting with
WAPlatform is operated by Saasland Limited, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom, with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2N.
